Embroidery has come a long way since Jane Austin’s heroines would sit and sew in the drawing room – we’ve brought the pastime back into the 21st Century with our own modern take on the original. Learn five popular stitches in your design, including daisy stitch, back stitch, satin stitch, straight stitch and the French knot. You’ll be able to choose a design to embroider yourself and once you’ve mastered the skill, you can try napkins, sheets, pillowcases… In fact, there won’t be a soft furnishing in your house left unadorned!
