There’s nothing like a patchwork quilt to bring back fond memories of childhood and in this workshop you can create something that will end up as someone else’s fond memories one day. Learn the fundamentals, including cutting fabrics, measuring seams and sewing the items together. Wadding can be added to make a quilt that will look fetching draped over any bed linen.
For a funky personal touch, bring some clothes that you’ve been meaning to recycle and you can add them to the materials that we provide. We recommend the beginners embroidery workshop to compliment the patchwork workshop – embroidered designs on patchwork always looks great.
