Sew a beautiful sailor blouse or dress with the Lily pattern from CocoWawa Crafts in just a day! In this 6-hour dressmaking class you will learn how to sew the perfect blouse or dress for any season and any occasion. For Summer and Spring choose lighter materials and the short sleeve option, or for Autumn and Winter go for warm and medium weight fabrics and the long sleeve version with cute cuffs and of course, its main feature, the original sailor collar. The dress and blouse can be dressed up or down as both garments are very versatile.
Ana will take you through all the steps on how to make the blouse or dress, from fitting and measuring yourself to cutting the fabric, how to attach the collar and get a more professional finish on the inside of your blouse.
At the end of the class you will walk out with a brand-new piece for your handmade wardrobe, as well as with the pattern for the Lily blouse and dress in paper, and instructions in a PDF for you to take home.
Depending on which item you choose to make in the class you will still get 2 patterns to take home at no extra cost. So you will get the pattern for the dress and the blouse. So once you have learnt to make one item you can make the other at home. Double win!

Sewing machines are provided in this class as well as the usual dressmaking tools, however you will have to bring your own fabric and matching thread (see measurements below) as well as 1m interfacing (or optional bias tape to finish the neckline if you don’t want to use facing).
