Amigurumi dolls are big news in Japan and quite frankly we aren’t surprised – cute, dinky and each one with buckets of personality. Make like the Tokyo cool-kids and learn the basics of amigurumi; crochet in the round and increase and decrease in the single crochet.

Are you left handed? Don’t worry we’ve taught hundreds of left handers how to crochet!

Improvers - Need to know basic crochet techniques.
If you don't know how to crochet then book yourself onto a beginners crochet class and get 15% off this class if booked together!

No, all materials needed for your adorable amigurumi as well as take home instructions.

All our workshops include unlimited tea, coffee. We always have plenty of cake on offer at every workshop and vegan friendly biscuits. If you require a gluten free treats please let us know!

Got me hooked!

I was bought a voucher by my friends for my birthday and I chose the Amigurumi crochet toys workshop. I am now addicted to crochet! It was great fun and the teacher was brilliant, she explained things clearly and was friendly and approachable for asking questions. I will definitely be carrying on crocheting (I am looking forward to trying my hand at other animals). I would highly recommend Tea and Crafting for a fun day out with friends and the vouchers are great for a birthday gift. Plus you get cake! Thank you Jane and team.

Amigurumi Workshop Review

Had a lovely evening at the recent amigurumi workshop. The teacher, Zoe was very helpful (and very patient!) and explained things really well so we managed to come out with a little amigurumi bunny and hopefully the skills to continue making more things at home! Have been to a few different classes at Tea and Crafting now and they have all been great fun! Would highly recommend!
