This is just a quick post to quickly give you some links to some awesome free patterns on the wwww – wonderful world wide web!

Lionbrand Fern Green Hat
I like to refer to it as 2 balls and 5.5mm knitting needles in my books its got to be easy and quick! Click on the image for the pattern.

More of a Beanie Style Hat – from “How to Knit”
You will know your purl from your plain for this one!

PurlBee Slouchy Beret (Intermediate)
The instructions are so clear and simple, with a bit of patience and perseverance you’ll have this knitted up.
For a similar hat try our Beret Workshops in December
Rowan Holly Long Scarf
I like to refer to this one as 3 balls of super chunky and 15mm (yes 15mm!!!) knitting needles. Effortlessy quick guys.

Patons Chunky Cowl
You will need to regsiter with the Patons website to access this pattern but its a great beginners cowl.
Lionbrand Cabled Cowl (Intermediate)
For a challenge make this cabled cowl. If you would like to learn how to knit cables and read a pattern you can try our Pattern Reading & Cable Stitch workshops in November and December.

I still haven’t forgotten that I need to write up the pattern to my cowl I made last month … it is on the to-do list check in again soon.
Happy knitting guys – a similar post will come up for crochet too.
