About this class

There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching your design come to life in fluffy yarn and thats exactly what a tufting class at Tea and Crafting involves. Perfect for adults and children aged 8+ (kids accompanied by an adult). 

In our tufting workshops in Central London, Covent Garden and North London, Highgate locations, you'll learn how to tuft your very own rug or wall hanging using a tufting gun, colourful yarns, and a stretched monk’s cloth frame. 

We’ll guide you step-by-step through the process. From tufting, gluing, and backing your finished piece – so no experience is needed. Whether you're looking for a unique activity to try solo, with friends, or as a parent-child duo, this workshop offers a brilliant mix of creativity and hands-on fun. 

All tools and materials are provided, and we’ll keep you going with plenty of tea , coffee and cupcakes along the way.

It’s a great way to relax, create, and get that dopamine high of actually making something so visually impactful and practical. You’ll leave with your own handmade rug or wall hanging (~35x35cm), a new skill, and maybe even a new obsession.
