After our online knitting session you'll feel like a pro; you’ll have learned all the basics including knit and purl stitch, how to cast on and cast off, and then we will show you how to create a variety of different stitches based on a combination of using the knit and purl stitch together such as stocking, rib and moss stitch.
Once you book you'll be sent a kit containing the needles and yarn you'll need to learn this addictive craft and once the session is over you'll also get the video recording available for 30 days, so you can keep on knitting until your heart's content.

Embroidery has come a long way since Jane Austin’s heroines would sit and sew in the drawing room – we’ve brought the pastime back with our own modern take on the original. Our beginners embroidery class gives you all the basic techniques you will need to continue this therapeutic craft at home.
This online beginners embroidery workshop will teach you five popular stitches including back stitch, satin stitch, straight stitch and the French knot. You’ll be able to choose a fun design (or a drawing of your own) to embroider yourself using all the new skills you have learnt.
Your embroidery design can stay in the hoop and you can hang it on the wall for show! Once you’ve mastered the skill, you can try napkins, sheets, pillowcases… In fact, there won’t be a soft furnishing in your house left unadorned!
When the class is over you will also receive a recording of the class so you can rewatch whenever you like!

Sashiko embroidery has been taking the crafting world by storm recently and we are boarding that crafting train too! Our workshops at The Handmade Festival last year sold out in days and we think you will love it too. The name Sashiko literally translates into 'little stabs' which honestly is a perfect description for what you do to create entrancing patterns.
During our online Sashiko embroidery class you will learn all of our tips and tricks on how to make these stunning designs and then you'll start stitching your very own Sashiko tote bag.
Once you've learned this style of embroidery you'll be dying to try it again, it's that addictive! You can Sashiko everything from clothing, to tote bags, cushion covers, wall hangings, pillowcases . . .

What will I Receive in my Kit:
We will send you a blue colour tote bag, stencils with a variety of patterns, needle and thread.

In this workshop we will be crocheting a sample square of some of the popular crochet stitches used in these blankets such as the V Stitch, Bobble Stitch, Popcorn Stitch. So if you have a pile of wool at home, and want to improve your crochet then this workshop is made for you.

Beyond Beginners - you need to be comfortable crocheting even if its just one stitch ie. single or double crochet stitch.

Amigurumi dolls are big news in Japan and quite frankly we aren’t surprised – cute, dinky and each one with buckets of personality. Make like the Tokyo cool-kids and learn the basics of Amigurumi in this online lesson.
This session is perfect for expanding those crochet skills as you will learn:

We will teach you the basic macrame knots you need for the majority of all macrame projects and the techniques to combine them and macrame your way to your next favourite bag! All the skills and techniques you learn in this online macrame workshop will enable you to make macrame wall hangings and plant holders. Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own terrazo style Jesmonite coasters that are taking over interior design feeds? Jesmonite is a versatile material, made from cement, water and a water-based resin that will create a different effect each and every time. Create your own Jesmonite coasters at home with a terrazo style effect.
You will learn what the correct measurement of each component is, how to weigh it, mix it, add colours and textural effects to create one of a kind unique Jesmonite coasters. Your kit includes pre-dyed chips, all the Jesmonite compoents, mixing cups and sticks, sand paper, wax sealant and little furniture protective pads for the coasters too. You get to choose the colour for the base of the coaster (choose between red, yellow, green, blue, black or white).

No, all materials are included for this workshop to make the entire bag. We will supply you with gorgeous cotton yarn to give your bag that hold and look that suits this square so well. If you wish to make a blanket you can simply continue crocheting sunburst squares to make a blanket but please note we only supply enough yarn for the bag. In this workshop you will knit up the squishiest cushion cover in less time than a re-run of your favourite TV programme! You can knit up either a round or square cushion cover - but don't fret if you can't decide, because you get given the step by step tutorial for BOTH cushions. NO KNITTING EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Once you have learnt this technique you can knit more cozy cushions of your own and as they take no time you can knit up a truckload of handmade goodies in no time! You will be given a choice of colours when you check out.

Well we're here to teach you how to knit! We've taught hundreds of people how to knit so join the club.

Do you remember those latch hook rug kits you may have created as a child? It's a craft that was commonly used to make rugs, cushions and other soft furnishings (years ago), it's similar to weaving but its not weaving and its taking over people's Pinterest boards! We've added our contemporary spin to it and teaching you how to make a wall hanging with these craft skills!
During this session you'll learn all about the tools and materials needed to latch hook and how to create different yarns textures and effects with the yarn. The possibilities are endless.
Our latch hook workshop is perfect for those who want to just make a latch hook wall hanging as well as those who may want to learn more about this craft and experiment with different textures, colours and patterns, as during the session we'll discuss how to transfer a design onto the canvas as well as how to create different textures and looks.
We will end the online workshop with a demonstration on how to attach a wooden rod to your wall hanging and how to protect the edges from fraying.
