No. A selection of colourful yarn, pattern, crochet guide and a crochet hook will be provided for you to take home with you. This class doesn't include all the yarn to crochet a blanket but we give you lots of tips on where you can get it.

Get to know your sewing machine and leave the class with a machine sewn handbag - the perfect accessory to your wardrobe to carry all your bits around. This is also a great class to learn how to upcycle some of your unloved garments into perfect gifts for family and friends.
The class is aimed at those crafty souls new to using sewing machines or those who’ve not used one for a while. In this session you will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, change needles and tips to sew in a straight line.
We keep this class small with a limit of only 4 people so you will get plenty of guidance and tuition over the 3 hours.

Do I Need to Bring Anything:
You'll need to bring the fabric for your sack we recommend a metre of pattered fabric that is 100% cotton. You can also sewing with upholstery fabric too if you wanted something even stronger. We have pom pom makers, buttons and trims for you to use to your hearts content!

This is a 2.5 hour practical silver jewellery making workshop where you will learn the basics of silver jewellery making using sterling silver. It's an excellent introductory workshop to silver jewellery making without spending a fortune on an intensive course. You will turn a flat strip of sterling silver into a beautiful precious ring with a choice of textures, shapes and sizes to allow for creativity and to make it unique to your own style. You will end the class setting a stone in your ring for added elegance.
There is an option for our tutor to take your item home to have it gold plated or rose gold plated. Please enquire about the cost to have this done.
You will learn how to use various jewellery making tools to manipulate the silver into shape and add texture to your ring whilst learning how jewellers polish their jewellery and set a stone in rings.

If you have piles of granny squares at home and not sure how to join them then come and join us in this workshop to learn how to join them "as you go along" – a very quick and easy method. You’ll learn three joining methods so you can pick and choose the methods that suit you and your project.
As a blanket isn't complete without a pretty border we will also teach you 2 different borders: scallops and picot edging to adorn your blankets.

Needle felting is a delightful and therapeutic craft that allows you to sculpt soft wool into beautiful shapes and designs. Join us for this ONE OFF seasonal workshop of 2023 needle felting a super cute Robin with Hanne Crank. Suitable for beginners, as well as those with a little experience, this class teaches you the basic needle felting techniques in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Using lovely soft, English wool, and just a small needle, marvel as your pretty Robin comes to life in your hands creating the perfect rustic Christmas decoration for your home.
Hanne is a needle felting artist from the Lake District, where she creates natural, whimsical wool sculptures. Always reflecting the beauty of the north, her creations are made using local wool from Beatrix Potter’s farms and are sold throughout the South Lakes and beyond. We are so delighted to have her visit us for this special workshop.

You will be provided with high-quality felting materials, including colorful wool roving, felting needle, and a foam pad. Learn how to sculpt and shape these materials into a charming robin that captures the holiday spirit. All materials and equipment are provided and you will receive a kit to take home too that contains enough wool to make another robin as well as a needle and specialist needle felting mat!

Have you been umming and ahhing about learning to crochet because you just can't find that thing you really want to make? Well let me introduce you to Tunisian Crochet. This form of crochet is a hybrid of crochet and knitting and is a highly addictive and perfect beginner form of crochet.
During this workshop you will learn how to Tunisian crochet and crochet yourself a face cloth at the same time you will practice (which after all, does make perfect) the simple stitch.
We send you everything you need for this craft, including a lovely Tunisian crochet hook (it's a fun cross between a crochet hook and knitting needle) and some high quality cotton yarn which means you can pop this in the wash! This also makes a lovely gift for someone.
Suitable for absolute beginners to crochet - its a great one for knitters to ease their way into learning how to crochet.

A fun and colourful beginners crochet workshop. Learn how to crochet these cute zig zags (chevrons). They make really pretty colourful blankets. No experience necessary as this is a total beginner workshop. We assume that no one has even picked up a crochet hook. This is a fun beginners class and lovely variation to the Granny Squares and Granny Stripes if you would like to crochet a blanket.

A good silver ring is a timeless piece that will transcend the life span of any wardrobe, however, a silver ring that's perfect for you is always hard to find... so why not make one? In this is a 2.5 hour practical silver jewellery making workshop you will learn the basics of silver jewellery making by our resident expert designer silversmith. Using sterling silver and all the tools of the trade you will walk away with a ring that you will keep forever.

Amigurumi dolls are big news in Japan and quite frankly we aren’t surprised – cute, dinky and each one with buckets of personality. Make like the Tokyo cool-kids and learn the basics of Amigurumi in this online lesson.
This session is perfect for expanding those crochet skills as you will learn:
- To crochet in the round
- Crochet invisible increase and decrease typical of Amigurumi
- Learn how to crochet the using the single crochet stitch (US) / double crochet (UK)

If you think crochet charts just look like a random set of squiggles on a page then this class was made for you. During the class we'll teach you how to decipher a crochet chart as well as create a basket for you to keep!
We are continually finding uses for these little baskets around the studio so this project is helpful in more ways than one. These baskets have been designed specifically to teach you how to read charts so you know you'll leave this class fully understanding how to read those pesky crochet charts.

Get stuck right into the holiday spirit with our Festive Polymer Clay Earrings Workshop! This is a fantastic workshop and you will learn SO much! Polymer clay is a versatile medium that allows you to craft unique and festive pieces. In this workshop, you'll discover techniques, tips, and how to design and create textures in Polymer Clay to produce eye popping results!
If you don't have pierced ears don't worry we've got you covered too!
During this workshop you'll learn the basics of how to manipulate and condition polymer clay and work it into an intricate design, then you'll be shown how turn a piece of clay into cute pairs of earrings. Given the amount detail and information covered in this class You will likely only make 2 pairs but you will learn so much! This type of clay will have to be baked once you get home, and then assembled, but no fear, we will give you thorough instructions on how to finish off your masterpieces and give you the glue and earring findings you will need to finish this off as well as packaging everything for you safe and secure to take home.

During this live and online beginners crochet workshop you will learn how to crochet chain stitches and how to crochet this stitch that is perfect for a coaster, extremely beginner friendly too. You will also master how to hold that hook and transform a long piece of rope into this trendy coaster!
If you can already crochet but fancy making these then we are also offering this as a kit only without the workshop. You will get all the materials you need as well as a photographic step by step by pattern.
