About this class

Create your very own unique vibrant, contemporary Jesmonite lamp – perfect for adding a bold pop of colour to any space!

Jesmonite is a non-toxic, eco-friendly material that produces one-of-a-kind marbled effects every time. In this fun, completely hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to design and cast your own lamp base using a swirling and marble colour technique (although you can opt to have a solid colour base), and assemble it with a unique filament bulb and light fitting cable for that modern finish (yes absolutely everything is included). 

We’ll guide you through measuring, mixing, colouring, and casting Jesmonite, as well as how to avoid air bubbles and share our top tips for sealing.

You’ll leave with a fully functioning lamp and the skills to continue experimenting at home (in fact we've known some students to turn this into a side hustle small business).
