About this class

Somewhere in the loft there's a box, and in that box there are three or four baubles nobody is allowed to throw away. Not the nice ones; the ones with a name on. This is a class about making those.

You'll paint ceramic baubles, guided step by step, with plenty of designs to borrow from. We'll also teach you faux calligraphy: the trick of "drawing letters" rather than writing them, which is why it works perfectly whether or not your handwriting does. Names, dates, a first Christmas, whatever the bauble needs to say.

You'll finish two or three in the session and the method goes home with you. They take far less time than they look like they took.

They make terrific personalised gifts, assuming you can bear to hand them over. Though once you've painted a couple of names, you'll start doing the maths on how many people you could plausibly get through before the 25th... don't blame us!
