This is such a simple and quick Easter knitting project! Suitable for beginners and all levels. Make these cute bunnies filled with a Creme Egg or any chocolate egg of your choice, out of a simple knitted square.
All you need are:
Small amount of yarn
And here is tute guys:
1) Knit a square either 10cm x 10cm or 15cm by 15cm any larger and it will be too big. Look at your yarn label for the tension square to get the number of stitches to cast on and the number of rows to knit. Its as easy as that!
2) You need to get some spare yarn, can be the same colour or different colour, it won’t show so it doesn’t matter. Stitch the yarn through the square into the triangle on the top half of the square only. See below.
3) Pull both ends together and a some cute bunny ears and a little face magically forms like this
4) All that is left is to then thread the bottom side of the square (the bunny’s little bottom) and pull that tight to form a little opening for the chocolate egg to neatly sit inside. Stick on a pom pom and you’re done!
